I’m Becca, a secular, non-religious funeral celebrant.

One definition of the word sacred is to mean “religious.”
But sacred also means “entitled to reverence and respect.”
I believe that death,
the inevitable ending of a life, is a
sacred occasion worthy of ritual & celebration,
of shared joy & grief and the depth of human connection,
without the limitations of religion and its decided traditions.
I will bring ideas & suggestions, but work with you to prioritize yours.
I can work with individuals who wish to honor the death of a beloved,
or with individuals preparing for their own death.

how it works
1) Request a no-fee consultation
contact me via the form below and we’ll schedule a time to chat and discuss what you’re looking for (there is no charge for this).
2) Choose the appropriate fee
if you decide to collaborate with me, you’ll choose the fee. This fee is based generally on a 1-hour planning session with you and a 1 hour service. There is flexibility if you want to expand that scope; we will come up with an amount that feels reasonable for both of us. And if none of these fees work, please still reach out to see what we can work out.
A ($50) – this price reflects that systems of oppression create economic circumstances that prevent people from accessing care/services; please choose this if you struggle to maintain access to meet basic needs.
B ($120) – this price is for anyone who doesn’t fit in the lowest or highest brackets.
C ($200) – this price reflects a pay-it-forward price; please choose this price if you are comfortably able to meet all of your basic needs with extra leftover.
3) Collaborate with me
we’ll both sign an agreement that outlines the scope of our collaboration and proceed to partner together to create a celebration, memorial, service, gathering, rituals, to honor a life’s end.
